I’ve been loving the hip hop data analysis by Ben Carter whenever I see it posted.

He has a great blog and has been on a tear lately with some G.O.O.D Music posts during this G.O.O.D summer.

He often explores uniquely hip hop ideas like examining Kanye’s guest spot appearances over time, and The Game’s tendency to name drop (a particularly funny topic of the older hip hop internet, which deserved this in-depth breakdown).

Ben’s personal blog is full of stats worth checking and it looks like his new home is on CentralSauce. Excited to see what comes next.

Update: Ben has also taken to Twitter via @ByTheNumbers and is dropping fantastic numbers constantly now (source of the header image's Lupe Fiasco stat). Definitely a must follow!
